Competitive sports in Alto Adige
A book on competitive sports in Alto Adige was presented this morning at the press center in St. Christina.
The book was the brain child of author Egon Theiner. Theiner was assisted by “Dolomiten” sports journalists Walter Morandell, Franz Sinn, Otto Schöpf, Andreas Vieider, Stefan Peer, Kurt Platter. The publication is intended to serve as an ideal continuation of Pepi Aussersdorfer’s work. Aussersdorfer is a legendary “Dolomiten” editor who wrote competitive sports yearbooks till 1979.
The book is entitled “Südtiroler Sportgeschichten – 25 Jahre Spitzensport”(25 years of Competitive Sports in Alto Adige) and was published by Athesia.
