Guay on the podium yet again

As with yesterday’s Super G, Canadian skier Erik Guay landed a spot on the podium: he placed 3rd with a delay of 0.20 seconds.
“Once again I skied a good race” remarked Mr. Guay. “It was relatively easy to ski, but that is what makes it hard to run fast. Key is to maintain speed and to avoid any mistakes, particularly on Ciaslat.” explains the bronze winner, who considers Saslong his favourite course despite a fall that lead to a cruciate ligament rupture two years ago.
Guay, who will be spending the holidays with his girl friend in Bormio, has high expectations for the downhill scheduled on 12/29.
