Matthias Mayer suffers Fracture of Body of Vertebra
The Austrian Ski Team just confirmed that Austrian Matthias Mayer fractured the body of his seventh thoracic vertebra in an accident on the Saslong today.
This was the diagnosis of the hospital in Bolzano/Bozen. The Olympic Downhill Champion is being transfered to the hospital in Innsbruck where further therapy steps will be decided. He fell in a jump on the third Camel Humps.
