The President of the Saslong Classic Club, Rainer Senoner, expresses satisfaction after the successful conclusion of the Val Gardena/Gröden World Cup week in XXL format.

Mr. Senoner, how would you summarize the three races?
"I am delighted. We had to organize one more competition than usual, and we were happy to do so. We managed it very well thanks to the great help of everyone involved. The weather has been fantastic over the last few days, and the spectators, who came to Val Gardena/Gröden in large numbers, provided the race week with a more than worthy setting.

The organizers of the Saslong Classic Club are always praised for their outstanding work. What role does the OC team play in organizing the World Cup week?
"A well-coordinated crew is the key to this event; it only works with a functioning team. That's why I must thank everyone who has contributed to this success behind the scenes. A big thank you also goes to our sponsors and the associations; the cooperation is excellent, so we can already look forward to the next edition.

So we are already looking ahead. Probably not only to the 2024 edition of the World Cup but also to a possible World Ski Championships in 2029...
"That's right. This year's race week was another pointer in the right direction, proving that we are prepared for a World Championship. I'm in good spirits and confident we will get to host the World Championships."
