FIS Saslong

The International Ski Federation (FIS) is an organisation founded in February1924 during the first Olympic Games in France with 14 member nations. Presently there are 107 National Ski Associations comprising the membership of the FIS and SASLONG classic club is one of these associations. The primary aim of SASLONG FIS is to deliver the best practice for academic programmes, especially in skiing. SASLONG organizes the ski world cup race events under the guidance of FIS. The rules and the regulations of the club and of the events are all set based on that of FIS. SASLONG organized its first world cup race in October 200/01.

The SASLONG classic club is an organization which holds ski events including ski world cup races, founded by Hermann Nogler in Val Gardena, Italy. The motive of SASLONG is to encourage young talented sports people and build enthusiasm within themselves by organizing such events. The working team of SASLONG comprises of sports persons, so the club is very well able to deal in the ski sports at all aspects. The body of the trustees includes Lotte Nogler, and Isolde Kostner and other members who have been attached to sports and possess wide knowledge of skiing because of which the club is able to provide thorough training in skiing through them.
