Race ski

Val Gardena, Dolomites is not only the venue of ski race for the participants, but is also a venue of fun and enjoyment for the fans. Whenever the ski race is organized, the participants are being provide pre downhill training for practice and then after the real race starts after the countdown music. After the race, the award ceremony takes place followed by the dance by professional dance troupes, fireworks beer party, pizza party and fan club parade. Results skirace World Cup

The SASLONG classic club has been organizing the ski races since 2000 in Val Gardena and since then it has been awarding the prizes to the winners of the race. The results are been announced for different types of race and course length. The winners are announced based on the decisions taken by the jury comprising of the TD FIS, the referee, assistant referee and chief of the race. In the SKI world cup 2006/07, Nayman Steven from USA stood 1st in fischer ski followed by Cuche Didier from Switzerland in head ski and Strobe Fritz from Austria in salomon ski who stood 2nd and 3rd respectively.
