The Norwegian racer A.A Kilde was awarded the Südtirol Ski Trophy on Monday evening in the finish area of the Gran Risa. This award is given to the racer who earns the most points in the four World Cup races in the two Ladin valleys.

Kilde finished fifth in the Super-G in Val Gardena/Gröden followed by winning gold in the downhill. He finished 17th in the giant slalom and seventh in the parallel giant slalom in Alta Badia. The ski racer had collected a total of 195 points.

"It is an important award in South Tyrol", says Hansi Pichler. The trophy was presented to the Norwegian by Florian Mussner. In addition to the prize money of € 20,000 and a holiday in South Tyrol, a wooden bust of the Norwegian was carved and will be exhibited in the "Hall of Fame" of the Saslonch Hut.

Additionally, a culinary dish created by the star chef Gerhard Wieser will also bear the racer's name.
