Celebrate the Val Gardena/Gröden World Cup heroes of 1970 with us!
Five decades ago, they wrote ski history in Val Gardena/Gröden. Ski legends Bernhard Russi, Patrick Russel, Michèle Jacot, Ingrid Lafforgue, Annerösli Zryd, Annemarie Moser Pröll and Florence Steurer-Penz not only provided an extraordinary spectacle but also contributed to the reputation of the Val Gardena/Gröden slopes and the whole valley with their outstanding sporting performances on the Saslong, the Cir, track 3 of the Ciampinoi and the Ronce slope.
Which is why the stars of that time are the focus of the "1970 World Ski Championship Anniversary Party", taking place on Friday, 20 December, starting at 7:30 pm in the VIP tent Saslounge in the Saslong Stadium. In addition to Russi, Russel, Jacot, Lafforgue, Zryd, Pröll and Steurer-Penz, Dumeng Giovanoli and South Tyrolean ski legend Gustav Thöni have already confirmed their attendance.
"We celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Ski World Championships 1970 in Val Gardena/Gröden in a special celebration in an exclusive setting. Among the highlights are an exquisite dinner, the open bar with musical entertainment in 70s style by the band 'The Giggers', a performance by comedian Lukas Lobis alias Kevin Kostner and the chance to meet the award-winning ski champions of the 1970 World Championships in person," explains Rainer Senoner, President of the Saslong Classic Club.
The price is 100 € per person. The exclusive event is also perfect for those companies who want to celebrate the traditional corporate holiday party in a very special and unique way.
