Dominik Paris has the most original fan club
The fan parade before the classic downhill race on Saturday has been an integral part of the World Cup stage in Val Gardena/Gröden for years. This year, numerous ski enthusiasts locally and from abroad once again ensured a lively and colorful event.
As every year, the parade set off from the center of St. Christina and led the participants towards the finish area of the Saslong. Equipped with bells, flags, rattles, banners, and imaginative costumes, the fans created an exuberant atmosphere along the way.
As part of the fan parade, the most original fan club is traditionally awarded a prize. This year, the award went to the fan club of local favorite Dominik Paris, who took part in the fan march for the first time since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic and was represented in Val Gardena/Gröden with around 120 faithful fans. Equipped with giant bells, flags, food, drink, and other fan paraphernalia, the Paris fans made for an atmospheric appearance and were able to cheer on their idol's sixth place finish in the finish stadium shortly afterwards.
As the winner of the fan parade, the Paris fan club can look forward to free tickets for the World Cup stage in Val Gardena/Gröden in 2026. A total of 20 free tickets are available to the fan club.
