Double victory by Slaven Dujakovic
The Austrian Slaven Dujakovic prevailed in both Super Gs, which took place today in Plan de Gralba, Selva/Wolkenstein. They were two of a total of four Raiffeisen Grand Prix FIS races that are being hosted this weekend in Val Gardena/Gröden.
"I've done a lot for these races and I've succeeded," said 22-year-old from Salzburg, Austria. "This season I dropped out of the ÖSV squad and now am trying to fight my way back in. My European Cup results last season were not good enough.“ Dujakovic was on the podium in South Tyrol five years ago, finishing second at the FIS downhill in Reinswald. His today's winning times were 1.34.98 and 1.33.97.
In ideal conditions, 185 runners started. Good showing also for Swiss racer Lars Rösti, who finished second in yesterday's descent and was also on the podium twice today. In the first race he finished second, +0.63 seconds back, ahead of Italian Matteo De Vettori (+1.01). In the second race Rösti finished behind the Serb Marko Vukicevic (+0.87) in third place (+1.48).
