Kilde in the lead at the "Südtirol Ski Trophy”
This year again, the athlete who scores the most points during the four races in South Tyrol will be awarded during the World Cup week in Val Gardena & Alta Badia. After two competitions, the Norwegian Aleksander Aamodt Kilde is in first place.
Kilde scored 145 points in the downhill and Super-G, just ahead of his compatriot Aksel Lund Svindal (136) and the Austrian Max Franz (102). Already last year, downhill winner Kilde was unbeatable and went down in the annals as the second winner of the "Südtirol Ski Trophy". The first edition of the trophy in 2016 was won by Kjetil Jansrud, another Norwegian.
The winner of the "Südtirol Ski Trophy" will only be decided after the technical competitions in Alta Badia. If you want to win the trophy, you must have taken part in at least one race in each Val Gardena/Gröden and Alta Badia, with obligatory participation in Monday's parallel giant slalom in Alta Badia. The winner will receive Euros 20,000 in prize money.
