Online ticket sales are now open: The 58th Saslong Classic is calling
Summer is drawing to a close. Many skiers are already thinking about the coming winter and may even be planning their first skiing trips. The international elite, on the other hand, have long been preparing for the 2025/26 Olympic winter. And on Friday, December 19, and Saturday, December 20, they will be back in Val Gardena for the 58th edition of the famous Saslong Classic. Advance ticket sales for the classic Ski World Cup event in the heart of the Dolomites are now available on the official website www.saslong.org
In Val Gardena, the venue for the 2031 World Championships, organizers are staying true to a proven formula. On Friday, December 19, the Super-G will take place on the traditional speed course, followed the next day by the classic downhill. Last year’s winners — Mattia Casse, who celebrated his first-ever World Cup victory in the super-G, and Marco Odermatt, who added the downhill to his growing list of victories — will both be eager to defend their titles.
This year’s races also serve as one of the final speed tests before the 2026 Olympic Games in Milan-Cortina, making the competition even more exciting. Fans will once again have the chance to experience the South Tyrolean winter sports classic up close. Tickets are already available online at www.saslong.org/tickets, with a range of options to choose from.
Tickets in the Action category allow access to the finish area, but also to the start or along the course – right in the middle of the action. The Happy Zone, on the other hand, is the central area of the standing tribune in the finish stadium. Tickets are also available for the Kamelbuckel sector, where you can hear the fluttering of the racing suits – that's how close you are to the ski stars here. Exquisite cuisine, high-quality service, and a unique atmosphere in the heart of the finish area – FORST Saslounge tickets are for ski fans who like exclusivity. On the other hand, buyers who secure the newly designed Friends of Saslong package can look forward to many additional services.
Online Bookers Have the Advantage
This year’s ticket selection for the 58th Saslong Classic is as wide-ranging as ever — and early birds can save big. Anyone purchasing tickets by September 16 will receive a 10% discount. “We’ve put together another very balanced offering, with something for every taste and every budget,” says board member Marcello Cobelli, responsible for ticketing. “In recent years, we’ve seen a strong increase in local fans filling the finish area and lining the slope, alongside spectators from across the Italian provinces and the DACH region. Saslounge tickets remain especially popular with companies looking to treat employees to top-class skiing in an exquisite atmosphere just before Christmas.”
