On Friday, 14 December the super-G will start at 12:15 pm followed by the downhill on the next day. Of note: for the first time, the start of the classic downhill race has been scheduled for 11:45 am. Excitement is guaranteed: which racer will dominate these new conditions? Who will pick the winning bib number?

And speaking of bib numbers, another novelty of the 2018 Val Gardena/Gröden races will take place on Thursday evening. In Selva Gardena/Wolkenstein, the bib numbers for the super-G will be selected followed by Friday evening in Ortisei/St.Ulrich with the super-G award ceremony and bib number selection for the downhill.
