The tickets for the 55th Saslong Classic are on sale now!
The whole Europe is facing a heatwave these days. And when the temperature rises above 30 degrees, very few people think about skiing. But winter will come and so will the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup, which this year will stop in Val Gardena on Friday 16th and Saturday 17th December. As of now, tickets for the spectacular speed races on the Saslong are available on the official website of the South Tyrolean “ski classic” www.saslong.org
The ski enthusiasts can follow the enthralling races on the renowned slope in Val Gardena from practically any point along the track. At the start, along the slope, by one of the key points such as the Camel Humps, at the finish area or in the midst of the athletes’ many fan clubs: everywhere you can feel the adrenalin rush of the world’s best skiers as they hurtle down the slope at breath-taking speed on their skis or stop in exultation at the finish line. Those who want to watch the Super-G on Friday 16th December or the Downhill on 17th December in an elegant environment instead, will find their place by the SasLounge VIP tent, where they can be pampered together with fellow guests. Ticket prices for the 55th Saslong Classic range from € 20 for the Super-G ("Action" category) and € 25 for the Downhill (“Action" cat.).
The defending champions in Val Gardena are the Norwegian Aleksander Aamodt Kilde, who has won three of the last four races on the Saslong, in the Super-G, and the American Bryce Bennett, who won the Downhill in December 2021. In addition to the exciting races, spectators are offered a rich side programme every year.
