Tuning in to Paris, Feuz, Kilde & Co.

15.12.2019

It is a taste of what the ski stars can expect during the 52nd Ski World Cup in Val Gardena/Gröden. There is a lot going on at the bib draw on the Medal Plaza "La Stua" in Selva Gardena/Wolkenstein, on the evening before the two “classics".

All ski fans should already mark their calendars for Thursday, 19 December. The evening starts at 5 pm in Selva/Wolkenstein ahead of the super-G on Friday. First off, 120 up-and-coming young ski racers will be given their bibs for the Vitalini Speed Contest following by Dominik Paris, Beat Feuz and Aleksander Aamodt Kilde who will receive their bibs starting at 6:30 pm to the cheers of the hundreds of spectators.

Friday, 20 December looks similar. The evening program at the Medal Plaza "La Stua" in Selva Gardena/Wolkenstein starts with the warm-up at 6 pm followed by the Super G award ceremony half an hour later. Afterwards, the world's best downhill racers will finally be handed their starting bibs which they will wearing during their fast-paced ride over the rock-hard Saslong on Saturday, 21 December from 11:45 am onwards. Those winners will be honored after the downhill in the finish area of the Saslong Stadium, before the big World Cup party, the crowning glory of the renowned South Tyrolean ski event, starts at 2 pm.
