Up close and personal: the Saslong editorial team is ready

Everything is ready in Val Gardena/Gröden for the 57th edition of the Saslong Classic: On Friday and Saturday, two exciting speed competitions are on the program at the foot of the Sassolungo/Langkofel - a super-G and a downhill. While the world's best speed specialists officially started the race action with the first downhill training on Tuesday, the Saslong editorial team also started its work.
The editorial team is in continuous operation throughout the week providing ski fans and journalists from all over the world with up-to-date information about the competitions in Val Gardena/Gröden. Whether at team meetings, training sessions or races - the editors are right there and report on the action in real time. The website www.saslong.org serves as the central source of information, where the latest news and background reports can be accessed. In addition, the social networks Facebook and Instagram, as well as the video platform YouTube, are continuously supplied with multimedia content.
Hannes Kröss is leading the management of communications for the sixth time. He is supported by Evi Hilpold, who heads the press center and acts as a contact person for the media, and Alexia Demez, who coordinates PR activities. The editorial team also includes Isabell Rabanser, Gloria Sommavilla and Laura Stuflesser.
The texts are written in Italian, English and German, with Sara Valduga, Kathrin Dellago and Martin Straudi taking on the editorial work. Diego Runggaldier, Julia Karbon and Christian Plankl take care of social media, while Katharina Gräber ensures the technical processes run smoothly in the background. Photographers Robert Perathoner, Harald Wisthaler and Camilla Pizzini provide visuals and images.
As in previous years, the Saslong editorial team is based in the media center in the gymnasium in St. Christina. This central communication hub has long been the most important point of contact for the international press. Equipped with a fast internet connection, an info point with the latest news and a help desk for general questions, it offers everything journalists need for their daily work.
