During the last few days, FIS held a number of important meetings in Zurich in preparation for the upcoming World Cup season. A delegation from the Val Gardena/Gröden Organizing Committee led by President Rainer Senoner was also in attendance.

These meetings at the airport in Zurich have a long tradition. Representatives of all World Cup organizers meet every year a few weeks before the start of the season with FIS officials to discuss changes and novelties. Among other things, it was discussed that a double downhill will take place in Val Gardena/Gröden in 2021. This year, as always, the races will take place just before Christmas. A super-G will be held on 14 December, followed by the traditional downhill on the following day.
