Val Gardena/Gröden is looking forward to a big TV presence
The whole world is waiting for the ski races in Val Gardena/Gröden. As sports marketing company Infront announced, the races on the Saslong will be seen all across the European, Asian and North American continents.
The main Central European countries will show the races on their primary TV channels, such as ZDF in Germany, ORF in Austria, NRK in Norway and the main channels in Switzerland. There is a special highlight to report from Italy: the races on the Saslong will no longer be seen on RaiSport as in recent years but, instead, on Rai 2. This is also the reason why the starting times have been slightly delayed: the super-G starts at 12:00 noon, the downhill at 11:45 am. In recent years, races have always started at 12:15 pm.
Eurosport is also introducing a special feature this year: the station will broadcast the final training live on Thursday. The races will be broadcast all over Europe and on Eurosport Asia all over Asia.
