Val Gardena/Gröden's World Cup-OC celebrates a job well done
Final reports are filed and feedback is gathered from all sides which is reason enough for the World Cup OC of Val Gardena/Gröden to toast to the season’s end. Just in time before next year’s races will become the focus of attention.
Rainer Senoner, President of the Saslong Classic Club, welcomed all employees at the Aprés Ski venue La Stua in Selva/Wolkenstein, where he thanked everyone for their wonderful work at the traditional annual celebration: "Everyone has made a great contribution and that is why we can look back with pride on the traditional Men's World Cup race week," Senoner reiterated. "But that's not all: we also organized two women's races with great success and for this we owe special thanks to pur entire team. Everyone fondly remembered the four races that took place on the Saslong in December 2018 - a downhill and a Super-G for each men and women.
This year, the 52nd edition of the World Cup races will take place in Val Gardena: a super-G on Friday, 20 December followed by the classic downhill the next day. Tickets will be available in a few weeks from www.saslong.org. Stay tuned.
