One month to go until the 57th Saslong Classic in Val Gardena/Gröden

In exactly one month, the Alpine Ski circuit will be back on the prestigious Saslong downhill course in Val Gardena/Gröden. Top international stars such as overall World Cup winner Marco Odermatt (Switzerland), local favorite Dominik Paris and Vincent Kriechmayr (Austria) will compete for victory in a super-G and a downhill on the last weekend before Christmas.

Auction of Cortina World Cup final trophies - Raising proceeds for charitable purposes

The organizers of the World Cup final in Cortina want to alleviate the distress caused by the coronavirus. The Cortina 2021 Foundation has decided to host an auction. From 31 March to 9 April, interested parties can bid for the handmade trophies that would have been awarded to the winning athletes in the Cortina races. The proceeds will be donated to the hospital in Belluno, which will use them to purchase ventilators.
