With a delay of 0.34 seconds and 0.44 seconds, Kjetil Andre Aamodt and Aksel Lund Svindal (both from Norway) placed 4th and 5th respectively. Favourites such as Hermann Maier (AUT) placed 6th (+0.45) and Bode Miller (USA) 8th (+0.61).
