The anticipation for the 56th Saslong Classic soars as the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) gives its stamp of approval following the mandatory snow inspection. The trio of World Cup races in Val Gardena scheduled for the last weekend before Christmas is now officially confirmed.

The 56th Saslong Classic kicks off on Thursday, 14 December, with the Zermatt-Cervinia catch-up downhill. The action continues on Friday, 15 December, with the super-G, concluding with the South Tyrolean speed spectacle on Saturday, 16 December, featuring the classic Val Gardena downhill. All three races in Val Gardena are starting at 11:45 am.
